All the kids got nerf guns for Christmas. And we have had NERF WAR ever since! My nephew Josh spent the night with us friday night and the war began!! There were 5 guns, 5 kids(counting Will and myself) and at least 200 nerf darts zooming across the living room. It was the most fun. As you can see Lacie was the retriever of darts off the wall. They used a box as a hiding place, and ganged up on Will. It was 3 against 1!!! I don't know who had more fun the little kids or the big kids. When we got up saturday morning the war continued. I am sure that I will be picking up darts for weeks and weeks!

Halloween 2008
Three Rambos, 50's girl and the Runaway Bride
Runaway Bride and Raggdy Ann
Had to make sure the tennis shoes got in the picture!!
Halloween has come and gone yet again! Just like every year, the kids had decided weeks ahead what they wanted to be..... and just like every year, changed their minds at the last minute. Cameron was going to be batman until about 3 days before halloween, and Lacie was going to be Sleeping Beauty. Luckily, Grammie had taken Cameron to Target and got face paint, because he had decided to be Rambo. The morning of Halloween, Lacie didn't want to be Sleeping Beauty and we just happened to have a Poodle skirt in the closet. So thats what they wore. I was the Runaway Bride, lots of people didn't get it at first but they all thought it was funny. Here a few pictures.

Pumpkin Patch 08
I was able to go on Lacies field trip to McLeod Farms monday. We heard stories, went on a hay ride, had snacks and of course picked out the perfect pumpkin. I couldn't take many pictures(had wrong lens on camera) but here are a few. We had a great time. Of course Lacie picks out a unique pumpkin... cause she is unique girl!!

Cameron had not had a nap, and Lacie, well was Lacie. You will see by the look on her face in some of the pictures. They are truely Gods greatest gifts!!!!

Riverbanks Zoo
Camerons K5 class finished going over the entire alphabet. So, as a treat and learning adventure, they went on a field trip to Riverbanks Zoo, in Columbia. I had taken the day off from work, Missy and I were going to ride together. It happened to rain that morning so Will got to go with us as well. We all had such a good time. Cameron was so excited, he couldn't stand still to look at one animal very long. Wanted to run to the next, and the next and the next. We are going to have to go back when we have more time to spend there. The bus left at 1:30pm to go back to school so we had to hurry. Plus Lacie is a little upset that she didn't' get to go. So I told her we would go back soon!!! She hasn't let me forget that I said that yet!!!
