Memorial Day at the beach!!

School is out, spring/summer has arrived! The kids didn't go to the beach for spring break, so I decided to take some time off and take them to the beach for Memorial day. We left on sunday afternoon and came back today. Will came and spent sunday night. The kids had a blast! They played in the water, dug in the sand and Cameron even learned how to play a card game. Like I said before, I can't get the pictures in the right order, so they a little backwards.

Lacie in her new bathing suit coverup/dress digging in the sand.
Cameron wouldn't be still for camera, so I got him running on beach.
A beautiful sunset!!!!
Not a good picture.. but here we are....................
And grammie, who so graciously let us stay at her house...
Bathing Beauties...
We took the kids crabbing sunday night... and they found a dead jellyfish to beat with shovel....
My two beautiful babies...
Looking at the crabs we caught

This was the first day there....
Lacie running in water.....
I asked Will to take a picture of me, since I am always behind the camera. I did actually get in and dig in the dirt with the kids.

Dance Recital

All good things must come to an end..... After months of practicing, tonight was the night. " A Night at the Movies" was the theme.... and the little "hula babies" were a hit! Tonight was Lacie's dance recital. She takes dance at the Opera House in Bishopville with Ms Robin Bradley from Sumter. At the end of last year, she hated dance. Funny, she signed up for it again. I think she really had a great time this year. Don't think she cried once when she had to go to dance on tuesdays. The little girls were the hit of the night...... and below you can see why!!!

I don't know how to get the pictures in the order I want them, these were afterwards. This is her very good friend, Caleigh Barrett( Hope and Paul Barretts daughter)
Flowers from mom, dad and Cameron and some from Aunt Gloria.....and a gift from Miss Gwen(Lacie's most favorite woman, besides her mom of course..ha)
The McElveens
Lacie and Lindsey Hill at The Hidden Garden, for supper.
Proud Aunt G
How cute are these girls.............
Lacie was in the back, so it was hard to get good pictures of her.
They were dancing to "Soul Man"
Tapping their feet........
And the ending of "Soul Man"

Lacie and Maggie Bennett( Laura and LaFrance Bennetts daughter)
These are the "Hula Babies"
Lacie was on the lookout for her mom and dad....
Watching Ms Robin behind stage...... .. Notice where her hula skirt falls...... way below her belly. Poor thing is built just like me when I was a child.
Showing her moves..........

Last Coaches pitch game!!!

Today was the last Coaches Pitch game of the season. The kids have really improved since last year. Cameron absolutely loves sports! Papa has been working with him on his batting and stance for that. He does really good, he just wants to "cream" the ball everytime so he tries really hard. He is very athletic, I think he gets it from his moma.....haha. Lacie was the batgirl/cheerleader. She just loves being the center of attention.

Last day of K3

Friday was also the last day of K3 for Lacie. They didn't have a program.. but they did PARTY!! Everyone loves a party, right?? She had a small class, she was one of the three girls in it. Parker(Lee Wilkes, son) was one of her classmates.

They were supposed to be singing, but nosey had to see what I was doing.
My girl loves to eat!!!!!
Still happy about her food!
Parker is like me, eats his dessert first!!!!

GRADUATION DAY!!!

I can't believe how old I am getting!! My little man graduated from K4 friday. They had a little program in the gym, where the kids told what they wanted to be when they grew up, sang some songs and then got their diplomas. Its so hard to believe that he is going to be 6 in just a few weeks!! The program was precious. Most of the boys wanted to be cowboys, firefighters or policemen. There were a few that wanted to be drag racers and monster truck racers. My little angel wants to be........... thats right, a FARMER!!!! He loves it!

They were singing....
THANK YOU Mrs Peggy!! You have made such a difference in Camerons life this year!! We love you dearly!!!!!
more singing....
And the after party....................
This was Cameron telling everyone what he wants to be when he grows up... (got someone shoulder in picture... sorry)
guess the arms behind the head is a nervous habit.
Josh wants to be a COWBOY.....baby!!!
